Collaborative Personal Project, In Development

My role in this project:

Languish’s development differed from CR-0’s in that it was not only done in RPG Maker MV, but I also took a more backseat role and aided with the game’s writing (specifically fleshing out lore and writing some of the dialogue) as well as composed and created the music for the game. I’ve had a hand or two in the game’s design as well.

Five of the bunch of tracks I’ve made for the game are listed below as examples of my music-related work on Languish.

About the Game:

In Languish, you play as Lila as she searches for her brother in the collective unconscious world known as the OZ (Other Zone). However, Lila will run into more than she bargained for as her journey progresses.

Gameplay Direction:

Languish is a survival horror RPG game with elements of dungeon crawling. Some of the inspiration of the game came from works like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Parasite Eve. The goal of the project was to find a good balance between the more slow-paced horror side of the game and the more action-y RPG side of the game. This is done by allowing Lila to use magic and the full extent of her powers in the OZ and stripping her of those abilities when she’s traversing reality.
